Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 11:00AM Hi to all my friends and neighbours on Thetis. That’s just about everybody. I am far away now, missing every thing and every body. Before I will tell you about all the perks though, I want to thank everyone who has ever helped me, [and there are lots ] supported me, was kind and thought my friendship. And wasn’t it a great party at the end? Thanks to every one!!!!! But I am not sitting crying in my beer though. I got to buy all new furniture, that was fun, and now I am working on making this place my own. The landscape is great and, will be stunning with snow caps..[ Wait till I have to shovel it } I have found great places close by to walk Billie, unfortunately, my obedient dog is totally out of control if she comes up against one of these huge things. I’ll work on that. In the big park though I have to have bear spray on me. I don’t know what will happen, if I ever meet one. I’m a bit scared of that possibility. As to meeting new people, I have not met any one that resembles a Thetis Islander, but I’ll keep looking.
Love you all Freya

Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 10:58AM We are starting a Central Island Women's Business Network Group that will have their first meeting on Saturday September 23 from 3 – 5 pm. We will be at the Cottonwood Golf Course at 1975 Haslam Road in Ladysmith.
This will be an opportunity for women business owners and entrepreneurs the chance to meet up, network and get to know each other better. The cost is $30.00 which includes the meal, and drinks are extra.
Please let me know if you plan on attending, so we have enough tables. We want to invite residents of Ladysmith, Chemainus, Cedar, Thetis Island, and Saltspring Island business owners. Others are welcome of course.
We hope to see you there
