Hazard Rating Drops!

The Fire Hazard rating has dropped and High Risk Activities can start up again. 

NO CAMPFIRES OR OUTDOOR BURNING. 

However, you can now chainsaw, mow, chip, split, weed-whack, grind, weld, excavate etc.

Please have a hose, water and fire tools (shovel, rake) ready and keep vigilant for errant sparks.  But at least we can now go back to getting our winter wood collected. 

Thank you all for your patience and perseverance through this very dangerous fire season.  Keep up the good work…we are almost out of the woods!

Propane campfire appliances are exempt for the Campfire/Open Burning ban.

Islands Trust ~ Ruxton Moorage & Docks Survey

The Thetis Island LTC is seeking public input from the Ruxton Island community on the topic of private moorage structures and community docks on Ruxton Island.  Link here for the survey and for more information about the project:
