Hello again ~ it is excellent I found a lot of work via my previous post on here. Now I am looking to buy a outboard for my boat with the fruits of my labour.

Wildfire Preparedness ~ Fire Smart Workshop May 7th

As Fort MacMurray burns, we should think about the unthinkable happening here and make some preparations for wildfire season.

Do you have all your important documents together in one place for an easy grab and go (passport, birth cert., insurance docs, etc)?

Do you have have carry cages for your cats? Dogs? Food and water for the car trip?

Medications, spare glasses in the same spot as your important documents?

Your photo albums and phone book with important numbers? (Hundreds of your photos can be downloaded to a thumb drive and carried in your pocket)

Cell phone charger for your car?

What about no fire here, but Chemainus and the ferry dock there is burned? Do you have enough supplies on hand to be self sufficient for at least a week?

The Fire Smart Workshop is this Saturday at Forbes Hall, 9:30 - 12:30. Please join us to learn about mitigating wildfire risk around your home and disaster planning.
