We’re wrapping up another wonderful year in the People’s Apothecary Garden and would love for you to join us for our last drop-in day of the season – this Saturday, October 25th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

Then, next Saturday, November 1st, we’ll gather for our Annual PAG Celebration from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Stop by for a cozy afternoon with cookies, hot apple cider, and a toasty fire, and connect with fellow islanders as we celebrate the garden and the community.

A friendly reminder that ThINC’s Annual General Meeting is this Saturday, October 25th at 2:00 PM at Forbes Hall!

Come hear about our accomplishments over the past year, learn about upcoming projects, and help shape the future of nature conservation on Thetis Island. Enjoy light refreshments, connect with others who care about our local environment, and vote for our next Board of Directors.

We’re also looking for new board members! If you’re passionate about nature and community, we’d love to have you join our team.

Please note: Membership must be current to vote. Renewals or new memberships can be completed before the meeting.

Emergency Boat Tow Needed

Hello, Fellow Islanders,

I am stuck in a pickle. I can't seem to get my outboard engine to run properly so I was wondering if anyone could help get it back to Thetis ?

I don't want to pay for another night at the dock as I'm on disability and it’s using up my money for the month of November.

 Any help is greatly appreciated.

Courtesy Notice - Route 20 Operational Change Starting November 1st

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and reliable services, we will be adjusting a departure time by 5 minutes on Route 20, departure from Chemainus to Preedy Harbour to Penelakut Island.

This change will begin November 1^st 2025 on Route 20.

Departures will be at 1230 (instead of 1225).

This is a necessary operational adjustment to ensure adequate time for breaks, drills, fueling, and sewage pump outs.
