Friday, December 11, 2015 at 9:29AM It is with sadness that I have to share with you that Will Lennox at age 81 passed away at 6:00 pm Thursday December 10th 2015.
As many of you know Will had some difficulties over the last couple of years and in his own words had lived 2 years longer than most thought he would.
After a couple of recent visits to Cowichan District Hospital all the while soldiering on with preparations for the lighting of the Christmas concert he returned to CDH on Monday where it was determined that they needed to operate. The surgery on Tuesday revealed the extent of the cancer for which nothing further could be done. Will passed away resting peacefully with Mary and his family at CDH. Mary is staying in Victoria with her sister and daughter. Updates about arrangements will follow.

Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 7:38AM My dad's cat went missing on Saturday November 21st. She was last seen on the beach under the government dock. My dad is David Pethick aka Miska Dave. His phone number is (250) 436-2468 and his email is diogenesdave215@gmail.com
The cat is a female named Bobbie. She is a brown tabby and most notably she does not have a tail. She is very skittish and shouldn't be approached, if anyone sees her or has seen her my dad would greatly appreciate a call.
I have included a few pictures.
Thank you
Loey May

We'd love to hear from you by Wednesday, before we hit the charity shops in search of one. Thank you to all who have warmly welcomed us this month of retreat at lovely Thetis. Hope to see you again.

Monday, December 7, 2015 at 10:31AM Many thanks to all of you who donated to School Orchards Africa at the Christmas Bazaar. Through your generosity we raised approx. $400.
I’m pleased to announce that the winner of the draw was Nan Beals. Nan is as generous with her coffee as she is with her smiles so it was particularly lovely for me to present her with her prize.
Thank you Thetis Island for you continuing support for this worthy cause.
