Dear Friends of Thetis Island and Everywhere,
Thank you for your prayers and good wishers. They have meant a lot to my wife. She loves you all dearly. If things keep going as they are, I may bring her home as early as next week. If that happens I'm asking that you will give us a couple of weeks to be alone to get things together and be by ourselves. Then please phone to see if visiting is okay cause we have never been down this row to hoe before. Trust me it is a tough one!

Maple Leaves Wanted

Join in the Third Annual Maple Leaf Mulch Collection.

Bring your maple leaves to the farm or call/email us and we'll send over volunteer leaf rakers and collectors.

Please help us utilize this valuable local, renewable resource so we can protect our topsoil, and nourish the ground for next year's crops. 

*Kids taking part in the collection program are entitled to cash rewards.

With the days getting shorter and fall's dreary days upon us, its time to get into a winter exercise regime. 

Yes, we're still going at the hall ! No equipment, no cost, no excuses. 

Come out and join us - everyone modifies to their own level of fitness and everyone is welcome - guys and gals.  New tapes and more coming.  Call me if you have any questions.

Teddy Suiker

My mother Teddy Suiker (Doctor Suiker, or Mrs Gooding) has suddenly taken ill and has moved to a care facility on Vancouver Island to be close to doctor and hospital while she takes medical treatment.  

I know she has many friends on Thetis Island that would like to visit her, but she is too ill to take visitors right now.  Please be patient and I will keep you updated as much as possible on eSpokes.  

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  Thanks.
