If you have paid your TICA dues, you will receive all the 2013 editions of the Quarterly at no extra charge! Perhaps you have forgotten to send in your membership dues? This is a timely opportunity to do so and keep the Quarterly magazines coming to you......and also support the Community Centre and the Rate Payers Associations - helping those Volunteer Boards accomplish important goals.!

Aikido Guest Teachers ~ Saturday, February 23rd

Our Aikido club is honoured that two guest instructors will be teaching Aikido at Forbes Hall this Saturday, February 23, from 11-12.

James Goreas from Lake Cowichan and Penny Ross from Victoria are the visiting instructors.

Community members are welcome to attend, to watch or to learn a few of the basics from these wonderful teachers.

TIVFD ~ Dinner Catering Contract

The TIVFD is now accepting expressions of interest for the TIVFD Annual Appreciation Dinner catering contract.  Dinner this year will be held on Saturday,  November 9th, at Forbes Hall.  E-mail Alex Rozewicz (no phone calls please) at holmpt@telus.net by April 2nd, 2013. 

We will require appetizers before dinner at the meet & mingle, a starter course, a main course, and desert with coffee service.  The usual format has been a buffet for the main course and the rest is plated.  However, we are open to new suggestions.  There are usually 60 attendees and we have a budget for $25/person.  Include in your expression of interest a sample menu.

We will review all expressions of interest for the catering contract during the first week of April and contact the winning caterer.  Please make your interest known to us by April 2nd.
