PAG (People’s Apothecary Garden) Open Hours Update

Summer is upon us and so are hotter days! To avoid roasting Leah, our garden manager, the PAG will now be open from 5pm to 7pm (Tuesdays). During those times, please feel free to drop by to harvest and learn about the plants (Leah is a wealth of plant knowledge).

Leah will also be hosting a few plant related activities this summer at the PAG, dates to be determined, but from what intel I've gleaned so far, they sound pretty fun! Activity notifications will be sent out on eSPOKES and will be posted on our website and Facebook page.

BC Ferries: Take the Survey and Share your Priorities!

25 Jun 2024

We've gathered a list of what we’ve heard as priorities from your Ferry Advisory Committee and community over the past two years. Now we need your help to:

  • Review the list of feedback we’ve received from your community
  • Prioritize the feedback we can action

Your feedback will be used by the Community Prioritization Panel (CPP) - a panel comprised of Ferry Advisory Committee Chairs from across the coast - to create a prioritized list of recommendations for the whole BC Ferries system.

The survey will be open until July 9.

https://www.bcferriesprojects.ca/embeds/projects/34052/survey-tools/47945

Check back on the Thetis Island Community Page: http://www.bcferriesprojects.ca/thetis-island for updates on the process and what we heard from your community.

More Updates to the Busy Ferry Schedule

Capernwray has added their known summer traffic to the next few months on the busy ferry schedule. The updated version is up at https://www.thetisisland.net/ferry/current-combined-busy.pdf, or can be found anytime linked from the ferry section at thetisisland.net. Fridays and Sundays are especially deserving of attention, if you're planning to travel those days.

If anyone else has information about busy traffic sailings that aren't already on the schedule, please let me know.
