Ugly Christmas Sweater Soup’s On: Wednesday, Dec. 13th

Join us for a fun Soup’s On, December 13th (last one of 2023).

Wear that weird, ugly, strange Christmas sweater that you pull out once a year. Don’t have one? Use glue to stick fun Christmas items all over a sweater you no longer wear.

If you don’t have one, simply do not want to wear one, or whatever, come enjoy a bowl of soup while laughing with your neighbours at the weird things people will wear!

Ugly Sweater Soup’s On – December 13th.

Christmas Concert

Thank you to Margaret Woodhouse for organizing this year's Christmas concert.
Thanks as well to all those who sang, danced, played their musical instruments, entertained and engaged us all - there was even a magic act.

The concert was a true celebration of community.

Bay Leaves

Fresh trimmed Bay tree leaves for the taking at 161 Pilkey Point Rd on Saturday ... up at the White Peony.
Bay leaf is a standard cooking ingredient in many savory dishes... They are used to flavor soups, stews, sauces and make a nice tea.

Goosey Gander Shop this Weekend

The Shop will Open at 10am on Saturday but close a teeny bit early in order to attend the Christmas Concert at 3pm. Sunday hours will be as usual 10am to 3pm.

A very large batch of toys came in this week, including a Darth Vader Mr. Potato Head, cars and trucks galore from Cars Cars to Transformers, a box of Hot Wheels tracks, and an old die cast metal Chevy truck. There is also a periscope, a whole set of Christmas dishes, two pairs of new adorable Sperry Top Sider toddler shoes, a Candyland game in a tin box, a Coleman inflatable Queen size mattress for your extra Holiday visitors, and twenty new crochet items from youngsters A&A. Many many more older items have been marked for the yellow tag half off sale too and the Goosey $10 Gift coins are available to give to Friends and Family.

Come by and have a look!
Thank you,
Nan Beals
