Horse Chestnuts

Hi Thetis Island Humans

This is Athenia. I picked lots of horse chestnuts to use for crafts, but my Mom found out they make good laundry soap, so she dried them all to use for our laundry. Do you have any horse chestnuts I could come and get. I could make you a little craft in return.

Thank you very much,

Athenia

Power Poles and Moore Hill

Hi Thetis Island Humans

This is Athenia again... My mom told me and my friend about the power poles they are putting on Moore Hill. Me and my friend think this is very bad for the animals and the environment. We want to do something about this. Can anyone tell me what two 8 year olds can do to keep this from happening? You can call me on my mom's cell or email her.

Not all Witches Ride Brooms

Thanks go to the community members who dropped by the Firehall Hallowe’en evening to help us give out treats and watch the little witches, princesses, firefighters, pandas and assorted others have fun being scared by the smoke and bubbles and creepy music.

Hot coffee and cinnamon bites for the parents too.

But the big treat was the goblin who brought their horse.
