Forbes Hall Spring Work Party – Saturday, June 8th

A work party is being held on Saturday, June 8^th at Forbes Hall.

Once or twice yearly TICA holds these work parties to get the hall and grounds ship-shape with the help of a large group of ready and willing volunteers. There are all sorts of different jobs, allowing for different capabilities.

All volunteers are rewarded with a yummy lunch and the comradery of their fellow workers.

9:30 – 2:00 (but we’re usually done earlier...)

Job lists will be posted early next week.

We’d love to have you join us!

Eggs for a Broody Hen?

Does anyone have any fertilized chicken eggs they would be willing to sell me? I have a hen who is broody right now and I would love to give her a few eggs to try out her mothering skills.

Need Pickup in Nanaimo

Need someone with a truck and trailer or flat-deck to pick up plywood sheets and a 14.5 foot roofing crate in Nanaimo in the next few days. All paid for.

Crate is heavy in the middle so pickup won't work. Weight would be about 750lbs.
