Stolen Battery

To the person(s) who lifted the battery from my white ‘95 GMC while parked at the ferry terminal, I’d have to say I’m disappointed (not to mention inconvenienced).

However, if you need the $10 you will get for scrap value, I’d gladly buy it back for $20 which I will leave in the battery compartment and you can return the battery and take the twenty!

Thanks,

Ken Hunter

Quarterly Pickup Needed

If anyone is in Duncan Wednesday, with time to swing by Apple Press at 430 Trans-Canada Hwy, could you let me know? The proof copy of the Quarterly is ready for pick up, and it would be great not to have to make a special trip. Thank you!

Sofa/Hide-a-Bed

(Price? You provide a new home for it and I’ll make a $100 donation to Forbes Hall on your behalf).

Well looked after sofa bed in classic 80s neutral browns pattern. In the process of renovating and needing a new home for it. Looking for something that can increase your sitting and sleeping space?

Need something that won’t break the bank? Want something local you won’t have to wait for?

Then this is it. Delivery can be an option for this weekend only, otherwise you can arrange for pick up when it suits. Picture can be texted on request.

Call Michael 250-703-3579.

Honey Jars and Transport Wanted

If anyone has any 1/2 pint or 8-ounce glass jars with lids in your recycling bin I would grateful to take them. They do not have to be canning jars. If so, can you leave them at the post office drop box, and I can pick them up?

I am also looking for a ride to Nanaimo Ferry for one of our employees on Saturday morning either 9:10 or 11:05 ferry from Thetis.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Looking for someone able to provide nail clipping services for an elderly Jack Russell-sized dog.

If you are able or there is someone you can recommend that would be great.

Thank you in advance
