Hello Thetis Islanders and Friends of ThINC,

Get ready to swirl and twirl, and jig and jive (if that's a thing - and if not - it should be) at ThINC's 10 Year Anniversary Celebration on July 9th. We welcome caller Doug Paterson, and musicians, award winning fiddler Ivonne Hernandez and guitarist Cy Thompson!

Moving Sunday

There might have been some confusion with my last e-spokes. People have been offering vehicles. I have a U-Haul for Sunday morning. What I need is some extra muscle to help me with the loading. I need to be on the 11am ferry all loaded up so if anyone can help me between 8:30 and 10:00am please call or text me at 250 246-7917.

Yoga with Karen - Summer Schedule

Hello Thetis Islanders and visitors!  Very happy to say back to teaching yoga again, starting this Saturday 2nd July!

SATURDAYS:  9am -10am @ Forbes Hall

TUESDAYS:    9am -10am @ Forbes Hall (this will be both an In-person and live feed Zoom class, please email me for the private link if you wish to attend via Zoom)

Both classes will be slow Flow yoga, synchronizing movement with breath, and suitable for beginners, intermediates and advanced students.  

Please bring your own yoga mats.  All classes are by donation for the Hall, thank you.

Tour de Thetis

Cycling fans know the Tour de France starts today. Most, though, don't know that the Tour de Thetis (a twice-monthly event) is on tomorrow (July 2) at 9.15 a.m. starting and ending at the community hall. You don't have to be a pro -- no checks for bike motors or doping -- to take part. You can ride at a leisurely pace and even take shortcuts and tell tall tales when we gather at the finish at 11 a.m.
