Missing - Red Coolbox, Blue Superstore Crate and Grey Washing Up Bowl

We placed the above items at the top of our driveway around 3pm on Thursday afternoon, for the Jollity order. When we went up to collect it about 5pm, all of these items had disappeared. Maybe somebody mistook them for FREE items? This is not the case. Please return to the top of our driveway as soon as possible, thank you!

Capernwray’s Ferry Traffic

We have updated our Ferry Traffic Schedule that contains all the ferries our groups take from Chemainus and Thetis Island through to the beginning of July.  It is posted on the community bulletin board under the shelter next to the ferry.  It is also posted on the Thetis Island blog for your convenience.  We strive to communicate well in advance so you are able to plan ahead.  Please contact our Main Office at (250) 246-9440 if you have any questions or concerns.  We thank you for your patience with us and want to serve our community to the best of our ability!

Thank you,

Gentle Stretch and Strength Sessions Wed/Fri - Forbes Hall

For those who know me, I am back to teaching, for those who don’t know me let me introduce the type of class this is and a little about me as your instructor.

The classes are going to run on Wednesday and Friday’s from 9:45 - 11:00 am.  The classes are going to be a gentle introduction to stretching and strengthening the tissues of our body through connections of movement to our breath.  This is called yoga, however, most people hear that and think they have to be a pretzel.  I am living proof that is not true.  I have 5 compromised discs in my lower back and this gift of gentle movement gives me the strength to move through my daily activities with so much less pain and discomfort.

The classes will be by donation and portion of every class will pay for the space as per the fee and another portion will be donated to the general repayment of debts incurred in building the beautiful new hall that we get the joy of being in.

So hand on heart, I invite you to come explore your body, your breath and your community by coming together in a heart-based practice of yoga.  There is no flow, we gentle hold postures and we finish with a 15-minute meditation and lay down.

I am a trained Yoga teacher, Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Holistic Nutritionist, and I have a passion for helping people nurture and nourish themselves naturally.  If you would like to speak with me personally, you can contact me at 250-210-0826 or dawn_gordon@telus.net

Dress in loose clothing and bring a yoga mat. (Let me know if you don’t have one as I have many).

We start Friday - June 10th at 9:45.

Warmly,

Dawn
