We welcome you to join us at Forbes Hall at 1:00pm Thursday, June 23rd, for our End of Year Celebration.
There will be short programs by the kids and school, and a commemoration of the 100th year anniversary of the Thetis Island Elementary School (which actually was 2 years ago, but this is our first chance for a public gathering). After which, we will have tea/coffee/punch, a fruity dessert, and a bit of social time. Then, for those who feel up for some action, we will head to the field to play a soccer game. We hope willing community members will join us for the game.
The only thing we need from you is to RSVP no later than June 13, so we can be prepared for the correct numbers. Please do so by emailing to michelleblack@hotmail.com or text 250-715-8942.
Thank you in advance for coming out to support the kids at our school here on Thetis, and for the RSVP.

The bees have found a new home in a crack of a dead tree about 15 feet off the ground at Lot 297.
Too tricky to retrieve I think they will be happy amongst the fields of forage.
Thank you to Ryan for finding them.

Hey all bridge aficionados you are invited to join a fun filled low key, social bridge game every Wednesday afternoon from 1 to 4pm at Forbes Hall.
The Forbes Hall Health Services Committee’s goal is to have Wellness and Health Practitioners offer their services at Forbes Hall. Despite the committee's best efforts we have not found any Practitioners able or willing to do so. The exception is a Registered massage Therapist who came over once or twice a month last summer and is returning this summer.
We need our community members to talk to their Practitioners - Family doctors, RMT, Physio and Acupuncturists - to advocate for services here on Thetis island. A loud voice from clients is the most effective.
Thank you,
Forbes Hall Health Services Committee
On Sunday June 19th from 10-3, St. Margaret’s Cemetery Committee will be having its annual maintenance day. The cemetery is a vault of island history and is the permanent home for many of our forebears. From tidying up headstones, to general landscaping there will be a range of projects to suit everyone's interests and abilities.
Please plan to come by and join us. We would encourage you to bring a picnic lunch, where we will remember and celebrate the lives that came before us.
Please contact me if you have any questions.

My husband and I are seeking accommodation for ourselves and our two children. My husband and I met at Capernwray Harbour Bible Centre when we were students, and we fell in love with Thetis Island and are keen to move back.
We are currently looking for accommodation and are open to many different kinds and sizes of accommodations and arrangements. We are open to house-sitting arrangements, rental agreements, or parking a tiny house on a property and assisting with land maintenance.
We have consistent income and are happy to provide references.
Thank you for your time.

Reminder to Thetis cyclists. We're hosting riders from Salt Spring in our free Tour de Thetis today (June 4) at 11 a.m. starting at our community centre. Everyone -- e-bikers and folks on traditional bikes of any age or fitness level -- is welcome to ride. The full course is almost 30 km, but many of us take shorter, personal routes. Just show up and energize yourself with one of Fred's excellent cookies.

Asparagus
Basil
Cilantro
Radish
Arugula
