Webcam Image

It seems that some people are still not able to get the webcam image from thetisisland.net.  If that's the case, try this "back door":

In the space where the webcam image is supposed to appear, there should be a "broken link" icon, either in the centre or the upper left corner.  Click, right-click, or hold down on that icon, which will bring up a menu, one option of which will offer to open the image in a new window.
Take that option, and it should redirect you to http://www.wgtelectric.ca/cars.jpg - this is the site where the webcam puts the image.  It won't refresh for you, the way it does on thetisisland.net, but you can refresh it yourself.  Or you can go directly to that site, but you'll want to make sure that your browser doesn't hang onto the last image you saw there, much as it is hanging onto the notion that the webcam image is a broken link, even though it isn't.

If anyone still can't get the image this way, please let me know!

Long Weekend ZERO MILE LUNCH @ Jollity Farm

We are firing up the big BBQ and roasting our Thetis Island Bratwurst sausages this Saturday, Sept.3.
Paired with organic buns from True Grain bakery and farm made relish, ketchup and mustard plus roasted onion and pickled garlic scapes.

Join us between 11:30-2 and bring a fold out chair if you'd like to stay and sit. Some tables and benches will be provided.

Kombucha will also be available by the glass.

We'll accept pre-orders if you have a larger group or want your meal ready for easy pick up at a particular time.

Wanted - Septic Tank Pump-out - Partner

On or after October 11th, we are planning on getting our septic tank pumped out.  We have one other person who has agreed to do the same. We now need a 3rd person, who is willing to wait until that time, in order for us to arrange getting a septic pumper truck over to Thetis.
