Stray Cats

There are three (stray?) cats frequently seen at the north end of North Cove Road.

Friends of Furries is wondering if anyone is missing one of these cats.

1. Large brown long haired Persian

2. Medium sized gray tortoise-shell with half length tail

3. Small gray short haired with a white bib

They all seem to be quite timid. If anyone recognizes any of these descriptions please call Rhonda at 250 210 0024.

We Have a Date!

The next whole-community COVID vaccination clinic on Thetis will be on Tuesday, January 11th - this is for your 3rd or Booster shot, or second or first if that's where you are in the sequence.

The time is not set yet but will probably be the usual morning through midday.

If you would like to make use of this opportunity, please let us know so we can have an idea of numbers.

Thanks to all who are able to support this initiative!

Branches, Branches, Branches!!!

Wondering what to do with that pile of branches before Christmas?

Frustrated with aligning your schedule and the venting index?

Looking for a Greener Way Out with a little Work Out

Instead of the old "Smoke Out"?

Maybe Thetis Resident Woody, a trailer mounted Wood-Chipper could be your Answer. Woody resides on Thetis, ready and available to serve the islands chipping needs. Woody's 49Hp industrial wood chipping teeth are hungry for wood up to 12" diameter.

Woody's average hour typically converts a neatly stacked accessible VW Bug sized branch pile into wood chips ready for compost or ground cover.

One hour minimum $125/hr

For a Chipping Good Time and a

Fun Workout, without the Frustration of

When to Let the Smoke Out,

Email Thetis Woody (aka Greg Gall) at: thetiswoody@gmail.com

Looking for Cassette Player

Looking for something I can play old cassette tapes with. I’ve tried second hand radio but it broke after light use. If someone has a radio with tape player attached they’d be willing to part with I would happily give it a new home.

Needs to be working well. Thanks.
