Thetis Island Community Meeting (TICA) – Join us to discuss how to get TICA "Back into the Black"

Feb 26^th 1:00 – 3:00

Thursday’s meeting brought new ideas to the discussions, the group worked through the information packages, and had good interactions.

We’re looking forward to more good work at today’s meeting.

To attend in-person, no registration is required, however proof of vaccination and masks are required.

We would love to see all interested TICA members attend this meeting, as we gather to brainstorm, discuss, and set a renewed course for TICA and Forbes Hall. We will be discussing long-term debt repayment and revenue development ideas and it is by having these collective conversations that the path forward can be one of partnership and transparency.

Free saw dust available!! + Looking for clean wood ash

To all the gardener - free clean saw dust for gardening/seeding/seeding cover or mixing into the compost. I am cutting lumber with the saw mill and have clean saw dust(fir/arbutus/oak mix) available to anyone who need some.

I am looking for a few buckets/bags of clean wood ash - without oil/plastic burned. (by the way instead of using synthetic fertilizer ==> clean wood ash is a very good source for potassium.)

Library Open on Saturday

Dear Fellow Islanders,

The Library will be open Saturday, Feb 26, from 10 to 1pm.

The attendant volunteer is fully vaccinated and symptom free.

Missing Package

A package is tracked as delivered to Thetis Island Post Office on Feb. 4th addressed to Torchbearers Capernwray Canada sent from Paris ON.

However, we have not seen the package yet and have scoured the property and checked with the Postmaster.

The dimensions are: 1.4” H x 9.5” W X 12.7” L

The contents are for our summer kids programming.
