Friday, December 3, 2021 at 7:27AM It looks like we will be getting a firm date very soon for the Covid Third Shot Clinic which should be sometime in the first week of January. When we have the exact date and time and have booked the hall etc., we will be asking you if you are interested.
Please don’t tell us yet. Veronica will be putting out another notice as soon as we have a firm confirmation about which day.
Thanks for supporting this initiative.

If anyone is in Victoria on Friday and could manage a pick-up before 5pm, please let me know at
veronicashelford@gmail.com or call me at 250-246-1509. Many thanks!

Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 8:41PM The Thetis Island Fire Department has a $260. flight credit with Pacific Coastal Airlines that MUST be used before March 2022. They would not refund us for a flight booked in 2020. However, they will allow a 3rd party to use the credit to fly any of their routes. Destinations here: https://www.pacificcoastal.com/
Please contact chief11@telus.net if you can use the credit before March (new regulations = vaccinated). Donation to the TIVFD FF Society appreciated but not expected. Thanks.

Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 8:36PM In four weekly sessions in December 2021 (2,9,16,23) the Thetis Society of the Perplexed (TSOP) will present “Jesus and the Foundation of Western Civilization.” The series consists of Introduction and four parts: Jesus and Cyrus the Great, Jesus and Alexander the Great, Jesus and Constantin the Great and finally, Jesus and Justinian the Great. The presentation will cover two historical periods – first, the occurrence of mankind on the Planet Earth, and second, the period of one thousand years, from 500 BCE to 500 CE. It will be presented both from the secular and religious points of view, but primarily from extra-biblical sources.
