Thetis Elementary-Volunteer Seniors Needed

Thetis Elementary is looking for volunteer seniors in the community to read with our students on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:45 to 1:15.
Volunteers will need to wash their hands upon entering the classroom, complete a self-assessment for Covid symptoms, and wear a mask at all times. We ask you to carefully consider the vulnerability of our students in the current situation. Most of our students do not wear masks in the classroom, and none are yet able to be vaccinated. We work hard to keep our children healthy and able to continue learning, and respectfully ask that you do all that you can to protect them as well. We look forward to welcoming community members back into our community school!

If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Sarah Lucchetti:

slucchetti@sd79.bc.ca

Thank You!
