Sounds of Springtime Concert (Off Island)

Round out your Earth Day weekend celebrations for the Fairyslipper Forest Nature Reserve by enjoying the Sounds of Springtime concert by the Camerata String Orchestra. This is a fundraiser for the Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre, a project of the Cowichan Community Land Trust, our generous conservation partners for the nature reserve. 

When: Sunday, April 22nd at 7 pm

Where: Sylvan United Church, 985 Shawnigan Lake-Mill Bay Rd

Tickets: $15 advance/$20 at the door, kids under 12 Free

Available at the Cowichan Estuary Nature Center or on Eventbrite

Margaret's Cemetery Update

There has been another slumping of the bank down at the cemetery.

Until the bank has stabilized I am again asking the community and visitors to use caution when entering the cemetery.

Please avoid walking on the beach in front of the cemetery until we are able to take care of the problem trees.

Thank you Thetis Islanders for Your support for the last 7 years.  I have enjoyed my trips to Thetis, keeping track of old friends, and making new  ones.
