News from the Portal

New life is being injected into an old home! Some areas of Henneage House are soon to be opened up for use by a small number of wwoofers (willing workers on organic farms) as well the THINC Nature House Assistant. We are aiming to create a vibrant environment for young people to be part of the growth of Habitat Community Farm, the Food Forest and Nature Camps & Projects.

If you'd be willing to join in on a couple of small cleaning parties to help us spiffy the place up, we'd certainly appreciate the helping hands!

Please write to Elisabeth @ info@habitatfarm.ca or call 250.416.6736.

Also, we are looking for the following items (in good shape), to help furnish some rooms & commons space. If you have anything you'd like to donate, you may bring it by the Jollity Farm this Sat. between 9am - 1pm or make other arrangements by contacting us.

Seeking:

Bed frames and mattresses (any size)

Fridge(s)

Bedside Lamps

Chest of Drawers or closets for clothes

Bedding, towels etc.

Sofa or comfy chairs

4-6 kitchen chairs

Thank you!!
