Wanting to Rent Dump Truck & Tractor Mechanic Needed

We want to rent a small (1or 2 ton) dump truck, with or without driver, for work at our property on Plateau Rd. Duration probably would be 4 to 8 hours.  This weekend would be great but otherwise at mutually convenient time.

A bumble bee Bombus flavifrons picks the wrong flower and a White Crab Spider’s patience (family Thomisidae) wins out.

All crab spiders are harmless to humans.

It looks like we may be able to stay in HIGH Hazard this week and put off heading into EXTREME for several days.  

Of course, it all depends upon how much rain actually hits the ground during the upcoming shower activity.  

And there is the threat of lightning.

Nature House Opening Weekend

This weekend, June 29th and 30th, the Nature House will be open for the summer!

On Saturday at 11 AM, come watch Andy Lamb and Peter Luckham go for a dive to collect new animals for our seaquarium and help us bring the critters back to the Nature House.

And to celebrate Canada Day early, drop by on Sunday with any kind of fabric (t-shirt, bag, apron, etc.) to paint with real maple leaves.
