Car for Sale & Other Items

Hi Thetis islanders :) I have a Black Chevy Cavalier that was kindly sold to me for cheaper than its worth when I was in need and I'd like to pay it forward now that I've up graded.  Does anyone need a very reliable beater car?

I got new front breaks done and put a new battery in it, the tires are almost new as well.  Both heater and AC work just fine. 

It started up every time and runs really well, no fluid leaks and all exterior lights work. 

The hood is dented from a little deer but otherwise the only thing wrong with the exterior is that the paint is fading.

DOG FOUND ! ~ Dog Missing from Blue Heron Road

We are dog sitting our daughter's dog, Laika, until February 18th. This is only our second day and she has gone missing. If anyone finds her, we would so much appreciate her return to us.
She is a small, quiet (rarely barks) friendly dog.

2018 Thetis Island Phone Book

The hunt is on!  I need to hear from everyone on the island, and those who own property here, if there are any changes to the information in the current (2016) edition of the phone book.  AND I especially need to hear from those who have come to the island since then, who are not in the current book.  We do not publish any information you don't want in there, but as a community resource, it's only as good as the information in it.  Please don't leave us with outdated numbers or addresses!  And if you have new neighbours who might not get this espokes, could you please let me or them know about this request?  Many thanks!

Thetis Island Fire Department ~ Emergency Use of Phonebook

The T I Fire Department uses our Thetis Island telephone book as an immediate and valuable resource during an emergency response.  We may need to contact the owner (and renter) of a Lot in case of a fire on or threatening the property or if we need access during an emergency etc. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date for the 2018 issue. This will greatly assist us in Fire, medical, or other emergency responses. Thank you.
