If you wish to donate to the Cancer Canvas 2015 Program and your Lot Number is between:

241 - 411                       - please phone Simone Luckham  (246-2802)

We would be happy to connect with you for a donation made to The Canadian Cancer Society.  More info on what is done with the money can be read on http://www.cancer.ca/en/get-involved/support-us/how-your-donations-help/?region=bc

Photos ~ Irene Kroke

Some lovely photos submitted by Irene Kroke.

My dog and I were walking (on leash) on the path by Capernwray School. All of a sudden we heard this yelling and screaming and hissing and turned around to see this guy running at us. He absolutely hated the dog. He knelt down and was trying to inch himself through the fence.. I think he was spitting. I came back to see him on my own and he was lovely and calm. The sign said “dogs on leash” I felt terrible for walking there and upsetting him.

Rogers Family Thanks ~

I just wanted to say thank you to those in the community who helped to support Sol Rogers and Anna Thiessen on their recent Equestrian Schooling.

A special thank you to Norman and Arlene Kasting and to Lynn Hunter for their support.  I would also like to thank Jessica Vanderhoef for being such an amazing trainer!

Anna placed 5th overall and Sol placed 6th overall! Both children were all smiles all day.

Thanks so much
