Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 9:06AM I’m wondering if anyone knows the owner of Linda Gail 2 or Apollo? They have been anchored, or possibly attached to my and neighbour’s buoys, for 5 days now (In Preedy Harbour).
Wasn’t really worried as I assumed they would be moving on and have a right to anchor.
The larger boat was wrapping around my buoy this am. So even if anchored, is likely going to ensnare the buoy. Both are deliberately too close to our buoys for us to use them.
I’m a bit worried this situation might harm my buoy, and also just not very neighbourly. Have not seen any person on the boats. Anyone know the owner/owners? Hope they could anchor more safely and not ensnare our buoys.

Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 9:05AM I still have four pairs of washable, reusable female dog diapers for incontinence or heat-dribble. They fitted a female Labrador but have Velcro closures on them for adjustment. Free to a needy good girl. Some wild colours in the pack.

Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11:21AM Hello!
With all this snow we've been getting, the Store, Post Office, and Pub will be open as usual, but the DRIVEWAY IS CLOSED.
Please park at the upper parking lot and take the stairs down if you're coming to visit us today as the driveway is too steep to use in this weather.
And we've got chili and hockey in the pub if you want to come warm up!
Thanks and stay warm!

Monday, February 3, 2025 at 7:28AM A tan-coloured, polar-fleece glove has been found on Lawrence Trail, above the horse field, it has been stuck on a bush stem so it’s easy to spot.
It’s been there for a week and is still in great condition.

Monday, February 3, 2025 at 7:27AM Sunday, Feb 2, a young kitty was hanging out at Forbes Hall for at least 3 hours.
Tabby, Male, maybe a year old, very friendly.
When I left Hall, it was stretched out on a chair out front.

Monday, February 3, 2025 at 7:25AM Quiterie and Timothie have returned to volunteer at Jollity for a second time and we've been overjoyed to host them.
They are making their way to Vancouver this coming Tuesday. We have roughly figured out buses and ferry schedules, but it certainly would be easier (and warmer) for them if they hitch a ride to Nanaimo or all the way to Vancouver. They each have a backpack.
You will definitely enjoy their company!
You can email or phone us at the farm to coordinate.

Thanks in advance!
