Jacket Found: Many Many Thanks and apologies to you all!

Dear Thetis Island friends and neighbors
In a very recent professional business conversation with Elizabeth Bond, I asked with very little hope, if she was aware that I had lost a down winter jacket, she had not made the connection to my various emails looking for my jacket, and she had been just on the brink of sending my jacket over seas to the worker she guessed was the owner.......

So with great amounts of gratitude for all your concerns about my lost jacket, huge appreciations for your efforts to match me up with my jacket or even some similar one.... And a very red face for my own embarrassment.... But think about it, you have another story to tell about someone else's seriously senior moments.....

Cheers

Take care,
Mary Forbes

Yoga for Feb 4th, 5th & 6th - Updates

Feb 4th  – Tuesday (9:30-11:00 AM) is a beginner/intermediate class that is a little more flow and strength oriented – it is our most popular class.

Feb 4th  - **Chair yoga has been shortened to 45 minutes and is now on Tuesday from 11:15 to 12:05 PM. Come join us and feel the difference yoga can make!

Feb 5th - **Wednesday is going to change a little – I will lead a Yin class this week (7:00-8:30 PM).  Yin is a very gentle form of yoga that holds the position for a long time, typically we only do about 8 poses and hold them for about 5 minutes each.  This stretches the joint gently, rather than the muscle.  Please call me if you are interested.  For this class dress warmly and in flexible layers, also you will need lots of support, so bring pillows, bolsters and blankets to allow the body to deeply relax as you hold your pose.  This is yoga on the floor, it is gentle – it comes with its own challenges.  Dawn 250-246-9212.

Feb 6th – Thursday – Yoga is cancelled due to the school event happening in the Community Hall.

Yoga is not something that can be learned intellectually, it is something that must be realized through action in the body, only then can it be felt and understood, come explore with us in a safe and friendly environment.

Warmly, Dawn

Ring Found

I am looking for the owner of this large sized mans ring found on Thetis Island at a construction site excavation. It was probably lost several years ago.  Does it look familiar?
