What's New at jollity FARM?

Thank you everyone for your support over the summer season. We are continuing to grow right through the winter. Our priority for this first winter season is to fill the boxes of our winter security box subscribers. We'll be happy to share extras as we can, so look out for our sign at the bottom of the driveway or eSPOKES notices as to when we will be open.

A BUCK A BAG!

We are hoping to collect all our mulch on island this year instead of trucking in straw. We will gladly exchange a JOLLITY FARM BUCK/bag of maple leaves (use for farm food credit - pork or veg) or a real buck/bag for kids who would like to participate. If you have a lot of leaves and would prefer to have help raking them, please give us a call and we'll be happy to send Finnigan over to help.

WINTER PLANTERS

As we slowly segway into small nursery offerings we will have a few seasonal planters and Christmas wreaths for sale over the fall and winter. You are welcome to visit the farm this Saturday if you'd like to purchase a planter to bring some gorgeous texture and colour to the entrance of your home. There are 3 sizes and plants include: Heuchera, Euphorbia, Pansies and Violas, Ornamental Cabbage, Fall Aster, Creeping Jenny, Sedum, Dusty Miller, Dracena and Ivy. Prices range from $8 - $30.

Thanks

Elisabeth and Noah

Bike Help Wanted!

My daughter's bike was stolen in Vancouver and she is heart broken.  It was a vintage Raleigh ten speed road bike. Apparently, they are the rage now in Vancouver.   I've seen a few of these types of old bikes at the Thetis Recycle in the past. I am hoping there may be more of these old bikes on the island.
She needs a road bike to commute to school and work.
