Vitals Monitoring Clinic – Wednesday, April 19th at Forbes Hall

Every second Wednesday, a Vitals Monitoring Clinic is held at Forbes Hall in the Care Station, coinciding with Soup’s On.

Stop by the Care Station this Wednesday between 11 am and 1 pm to have your vital signs checked or to speak with community paramedic, Vinh Pham.

Thetis Island Elementary School is participating in Jump Rope for Heart this May! We will be out skipping throughout the month, and we will hold our final skipping event on May 26th. Please consider donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation on behalf of the school. Thank you!

The seven member TICA Board manages operations and finances for the Forbes Hall Community Centre.

There are 4 Director positions on the TICA Board open for election at the AGM on Sunday May 7, 2013 -- all are 2-year terms. The current holders of these positions will stand for re-election.

· IT Co-ordinator (Currently Marjan Jackman)

· Grant Researcher – Writer (Currently Colleen Kasting)

· Merchandise Co-ordinator (Currently Ellen Rush)

This Wednesday is Games Night at Thetis Island Pub! 19 April 2023 - 6pm to 11pm

Everyone welcome! Teams, partners, singles, men, women! Let’s get out of the house tonight and enjoy some friendly competition.

The pub will be open until 11pm.  Last call for pub food 9pm.  Last call for alcohol 10pm

The doors close for the night at 11pm

We use weights and/or bands, floor mats or chairs. All at your own discretion.

Stretches to finish up.

Thetis Island Merchandise for Sale at Soup’s On

Thetis Island Merchandise will be available for sale at Soup’s On this Wednesday. 

There are ball caps, fleece blankets and short sleeve t-shirts in a variety of colors and sizes.

As well, there are long sleeve black t-shirts complete with an image of Maynard Johnny Jr.'s art installation which is featured on the exterior of Forbes Hall Community Centre. 

If not for you, these make excellent gifts for friends and family.

Proceeds benefit TICA’s Back into the Black Debt Reduction Program.

Thetis Island Elementary School Registration

Thetis Island Elementary School has been steadily growing these past few years. We would like to get the message out to parents in the community that if you would like your children to attend school on Thetis in September, please register now. 

You can do this by stopping by the school during school hours to pick up papers, or by going to Chemainus Elementary School in Chemainus.

Please help spread the message to any prospective families in the community. If you wait too long, there may not be room available.
