Come join us in tidying up the gardens and grounds at Forbes Hall readying them for the Autumn.
There may be an indoor job or two, as well.

Congratulations to Bruce More

Congratulations and best wishes to Bruce More, long-time Thetis neighbor & friend. Bruce and his wife Connie first came to Thetis in the early 1970s, and built "Morehaven" soon after.
Bruce is featured in Saturday's CBC BC story ("Book box boomtown: Greater Victoria celebrates more than 1,000 little free libraries") for having personally built more than 100 "little libraries" for the greater Victoria area:

Fire Danger Class Drops to MODERATE

The Fire Danger Class drops to MODERATE on Sunday, which cancels all High Hazard Activity prohibitions.

A complete solid fuel campfire ban remains in effect until October 31st.

We will be bringing a cement truck & pumper truck over to Thetis on Monday at 12:30 if that affects your ferry timing.

A Garmin device has been found and turned on to Thetis Island marina. It says Stryker on the back. Someone was looking for it earlier, but they didn't leave a contact.

If you know who owns this, please claim it at the liquor store counter. We're open 10-6.

freezer for winter. It's not a huge savings but still a few bucks off.
Let us know and we'll pick up a few extras the next two weeks.
