Friend of library vaccinated and welcome everyone.
The Loop Trail is once again open.
A big thank you to Chris Call for cutting a section out of the fallen tree trunk and thanks also to Vicki Walker, Frank English, Rob Welsh and Grant Mottershead for putting up a fence to re-establish the trail.

Just a reminder that the "deadline" for the summer issue of the Quarterly is May 7th.
Events or stories coming after that time, we'll need to at least know about and plan for.
Also, our ads are gradually depleting as time goes on, so if anyone has been considering advertising
in the Q, or knows of a business that would benefit from the exposure, please send it in to us.
It's not expensive - have a look at
https://www.thetisisland.net/ftp/Ad_rates_Quarterly.pdf
Thanks!
The Q team at quarterly@thetisisland.net
Still $5 each.
You can get yours from the Post Office during their open hours, from Louise at the Recycling Yard when they're open (might not be until 10-ish this Saturday), or from me, Veronica, any time.
Call 250-246-1509 and let me know if you're coming by 410 Pilkey Point Road, or email me to make any other arrangements - veronicashelford@gmail.com
I will have my Thetis grown and hand dyed yarns and fibre for show and sale in the back room of the Marina restaurant on Friday from 12-2.
If you are interested in learning how to process wool, come down and try your hand at carding, combing, spinning or just look and feel the delightful offerings.
If you want to come but can't make it today, let me know so we can plan another time!
Text or call Emily
