A small aluminium boat was found floating in the bay and has now been tied up to the Capernwray Harbour dock. If this belongs to you or if you know who’s it may be, please contact the Capernwray Harbour office at (250) 246-9440 or by email at chbc@capernwray.ca.
We also have pictures of the boat if that would be of help.
Thank you!

On Friday, the finishing touches were completed for the Main Kitchen at Forbes Hall. A thorough cleaning and it was ready for its first big event, the Annual TIVFD Appreciation & Awards Banquet.
It worked incredibly well!
Here are some pictures until folks will be able to take a look at this Wednesday's return of Soups' On!
Due to unforeseen circumstances the school concert will not be part of the community concert. Sorry for any confusion or stress.
I am still willing to organize a community concert if there are enough acts to create a program. We will also need people to help set up and take down chairs, the stage tables etc., people to bring goodies, and someone to look after the refreshment table.
Please let me know by the 20th of November how you are able to participate.
(Read a poem, do a skit, a dance, a song, help out...)

VIHA says a Covid Booster Shot clinic will likely be organized for January for Thetis Island given the staff shortages they have right now and the focus on the 5 to 12 year-olds vaccination roll out on Vancouver Island. We will keep you posted.

For over 30 years our community has had a Christmas concert – actually, we were simply getting together to celebrate all we are grateful for. There were poems, songs, musical interludes, skits, dances, sing-alongs - any contribution was welcomed.
The school will be putting on a concert in the third week of December and I would be willing to coordinate other participants to fill out the program. So, dust off those books, warm up your vocal cords, practice with your friends, and help make this a special event!
In order for the school to make hall reservations, please let me know by Nov 20th if you want to participate.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

(Public health officer's orders on indoor organized events will apply)
Hope to see you all there!
Usual Covid protocols in place, all classes by donation.
thank you,
