Thank you all so much for your generous donations towards Forbes Hall, so kind of you.  I am really enjoying teaching you and getting to know you all.

Come to Yoga on Thursday evening, and enjoy a cool, slow flow after a beautifully hot sunny day.  Bring your mat and any props you may need, a cushion is great for sitting on as well as for padding for your knees.

All classes are by donation, pay what you can when you can.

Hey there Islanders! ThINCpod’s heard that you folks are interested in learning more about composting! So, we decided to put together a little presentation on the basics behind composting. We’ll cover what composting is, what it does for you, and how you can start your own system. If that sounds like something you might be interested in, come on by the Nature House on Friday, August 13th and learn a thing or two about composting your organic waste.
Please bring note taking equipment!

Discarding Cooked Bones on the Beach

Cooked bones splinter and can cause serious problems or even death to any animals who eat them. If you feel the need to dispose of your cooked bones in this manner, please at least ensure you drop them well below the low tide line.
