Canon 210XL Printer Cartridge ~ Free

I have a Canon 210XL black printer cartridge, new & never used, to give away.  I opened the package and broke the seal before discovering that it doesn't fit my printer. 

The package says it fits Canon PIXMA models iP2700, iP2702, MP240, MP250, MP260, MP270, MP280, MP480, MP490, MP495, MP499, MX320, MX330, MX340, MX350, MX360, MX410, and MX420 models.

Just a reminder of the Christmas Bazaar this coming Saturday December 2nd 10-3.

Numerous artisans including baking, soap making, children's clothing, perogies, crackers, wine tasting, sea art, jewellery, wreaths, wood art, stone art, women's clothing, purses and much more.

Coffee and baked goods starts at 10 am and lunch by Cafe TICA starts at 11.

This year we will be serving soup, buns, sandwiches and dessert.

Free Store Info / Reminder

A Neighbourly Reminder/Request from your Solid Waste Committee:

Please, No clothing, cloth items or shoes, No books or magazines. These items are accepted at the Chemainus Thrift Store and or 49th Parallel General Store across from the Chemainus ferry terminal. 

Mechanical and other items: We accept only items that work

No propane tanks or tires are accepted.

Recyclables: Please, ensure recyclable materials: cans, glass ware, etc are cleaned before bringing them to our volunteers. Doing that really helps the volunteers and is healthier for all.

Household Garbage: Please refrain from placing building materials inside garbage bags. The CVRD will be instituting new rules in 2018/2019 regarding restricted materials in our garbage and recyclables.

Reminder: Advisory Planning Commission (APC) Volunteers Needed

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: GET INVOLVED IN LOCAL PLANNING DECISIONS

The Thetis Island Local Trust Committee is seeking expressions of interest for its Advisory Planning Commission (APC).

The role of the APC is to consider referrals from the Local Trust Committee on various planning matters such as Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw amendments, and development applications.

All members must be electors within the Thetis Island Local Trust Area.  The Islands Trust will provide an orientation to new members.

Up to seven volunteer members are needed for a period of up to two years.

Please forward your expression of interest with a brief description of relevant experience or interests, either by email, mail or fax by Friday, November 24, 2017.
