We are selling our 2006 Wildwood Travel Trailer. 21' ft long. Everything works well, one queen bed and a table that folds into a bed. Full size fridge, dry weight 3400lb. Nice, light and clean! All redone and nice inside. Comes with a/c, and stabilizer hitch, propane tanks and batteries. Perfect for a couple! Text Jenna at 639-314-3276 for pictures or to schedule viewing. Must be moved off property (currently located on Thetis Island). Asking $13,000 obo.

Thank You on behalf of Florence James and her family

Dear Thetis Islanders,

A couple of weeks ago, I invited our community to contribute donations to support Penelakut Elder Florence James in her recovery from a stroke she suffered on the ferry. The intention was to raise some funds to ease her worries about needing to return to paid work too quickly. This call was done with permission of her family. Our community has been generous in responding with donations as well as expressions of loving care and commitments to prayer. Florence has received all the donations and many of the caring comments, and this morning said to her son Rocky, "I'm so lucky to have such special people as my friends."

Florence was released from hospital last weekend and continues to recover well at home. She is still weak but gaining strength and starting to get out a bit. I know she was deeply touched by our support and love. Thank you all from the depths of my being for answering the call in whatever way you were moved and able, whether financial, through prayer, lighting candles or  another way of holding our dear Elder Florence in loving care and healing.

In gratitude,
Kelly Bannister

Hurrah!!

I drove by Moore Hill viewpoint this morning. Lo and behold – I saw orange.

I stopped, leapt out of car to the little fir tree, and saw the harmonica restored.

I thank you so very, very much for being kind and thoughtful! It means the world to me.

Looking for Advice re General Contractors and Structural Engineer

Hi, we’re in the midst of planning a significant reno on our Panabode home.  Scope being worked on includes if possible a new expanded kitchen,  small addition, New bathrooms, floors, windows and doors, floors etc.).

We are looking for a structural engineer before we can finalize the scope and design plans.
We are also starting to look for a general contractor.

I am looking for recommendations/advice re the above, especially if you have had a recent reno or build on the island.   We can wait for the right person to be available.

If you are on island and want to tell me re your own work, I am also interested in hearing from you.

Please contact me either by email or Phone ?

Thanks
