On Sunday June 26th from 10-3, St. Margaret’s Cemetery Committee will be having its annual maintenance day. The cemetery is a vault of island history and is the permanent home for many of our forebears. From tidying up headstones, to general landscaping there will be a range of projects to suit everyone's interests and abilities.
Please plan to come by and join us, all are welcome. If possible, please bring small garden tools for general landscaping and/or scrub brushes and water pails to clean grave markers. We would encourage you to bring a picnic lunch, where we will remember and celebrate the lives that came before us.
Please contact me if you have any questions.

Would all those who would be interested in a community COVID booster clinic here on Thetis, as soon as VIHA can arrange it, please let us know a.s.a.p.
We just need to know numbers at this point.
Thanks!
We are getting a landline again. Unfortunately, we took our phones to the" free store" at the recycling center when it was open.
We are wondering if anyone has a landline phone that they are not using.
Thanks so much for your help.

Summer weather is just around the corner, and now is a good time to clean your roof and gutters.
In the event of a wildfire, embers can be blown downwind and easily ignite dry leaves, needles, cones and other debris in gutters and on your roof.
Now is the time to take action. You won’t have time to get prepared once fire is at your doorstep.

Hi Everyone,
Here is my updated list of the latest stage. When you remove the hyphen from your post office box (14-8 moves to 148), you get your new number.
If your number appears on the list below, you should be good to go. Meaning, that will be your new post office box number.
If your number is not on the list, I’m working on those boxes now. Stay tuned.
Let me know if you see a problem below that I haven’t at michelleblack@hotmail.com or text at 250-715-8942 (mistakes happen, like yesterday when I missed a whole row).
Thanks again, Michelle and Fred
