The Wise still seek HIM.
Our own Rick Gregerson sailed off into uncharted waters Wednesday morning.
He was comfortable and peaceful in Chemainus by the sea that he loved.
I know that Rick wished us all well. Godspeed to an unfailing loyal friend.
Karen

Being a guy always full of "wonder", I'm wondering if one of my fellow Islanders would have a hand powered vacuum/pressure pump that I could borrow to check a 2-cycle crankcase for leaks!
If your not ponderin' what I'm wonderin' and happen ta possess what I'm lookin' ta borrow fer a spell, shoot me a text at

The story we are getting keeps changing, but here's the latest:
They have added another 54 time slots for the booster shots as of this morning (the 23rd), and they are only accepting people born in 1958 or earlier at this time, and those need to have had their invitation letter.
There can be no walk-ins for the booster shots - they will bring only what they need for those who are pre-booked.
They will do 1st or 2nd shots as walk-ins for any age 5+, but not the 3rd booster shot.
Bring your Provincial Health Care Number.
The only exception will be for a 3rd shot WITH a letter from your physician saying you are in a specific vulnerable category. Bring the letter as a walk-in.
For what it's worth, they are promising us another clinic in March.
Please don't shoot the messengers - the system appears to be pretty chaotic right now.
If there are any changes we will let you know as soon as we know.

To all the Angels who made a commitment to the cause, there is a tearful grateful Island fellow who is most thankful to you all. I believe I have contacted all of the Angels and will provide updates on how the funds will be disbursed, to ensure your generosity will provide a degree of longevity for him.
Thank you one and all, and to the folks at eSPOKES for making it happen.
Cheers
Lawrence
A reminder that the first sailing on Christmas and New Year's morning will be 7.55 AM with a stop at Penelakut enroute to Chemainus.
