Final Reminders about the COVID Immunisation Clinic

- If you are registered for the COVID clinic here on Thetis today and
tomorrow (April 28th and 29th), don't forget to bring your Care Card
number and/or your QR code.

- Don't arrive more than 10 minutes earlier than your assigned time slot
(if that), as you'll just have to wait in your car.

- If you haven't yet booked a place, but are eligible for and would like
to get the shot here, call the booking phone number (1-833-838-2323). 
At least register for it, and if they can't give you a time slot, come
and let us know.  We can take your phone number and call if and as time
and vaccine becomes available.

Welcoming New Gate for St. Margaret’s Cemetery

The board of St.Margaret’s Cemetery extend their deepest gratitude on behalf of the community to Norm Kasting for the design and construction of a beautiful gate at the main entrance to the cemetery.

Norm sourced all materials from Overbury including cedar beams from one of the original structures on the property.

This beautiful new gate donated by Norm will be a lasting gift to the island.

Community Food Security Program Coordinator

ThINC has received Canada Summer Jobs funding to hire a part-time Environmental Program Coordinator for our 2021 Community Food Security Program.

The position begins as early as May 3 and will be for 23 weeks, 12 hours a week. 

Applicants must be Canadian citizens between the ages of 15 and 30. Because of the part-time nature of the position, we require the applicants to be Thetis Island residents at the time of application.
